Whale watching

Whale watching is a Gold Coast pastime.  Regularly seen from Burleigh Headland, your Burleigh Heads accommodation, or even when you are having lunch at one of the beachfront Surf Clubs,  these wonderful creatures frequent the Gold Coast from late May to November every year.

Sea World Whale Watch

Come onboard the luxury, purpose built whale watching vessel, 'Spirit of Migloo'.  We have experts who guarantee finding a whale during your  Gold Coast cruise or you'll be offered a full refund!

Every tour is a unique, so you may also see some dolphins, turtles and sharks.
 
Sea World cruises depart from their cruise terminal in the car park outside Sea World.  Entry to Sea World is not required.

Gold Coast Whale Watching

Australian Whale Watching also aim to have lower numbers on board thereby providing more viewing space for their guests.  Complimentary commentary also included.

Whales in Paradise

The only Gold Coast whale watching tour to offer a scenic cruise down the Nerang River, gaze at spectacular million dollar homes before cruising past South Stradbroke Island to the protected waters of the Australian Whale Sanctuary.
Complimentary morning or afternoon tea included.

Tweed Ocean Adventures

Tweed Ocean Adventures treat their guests to a whale watching experience different to all others.  Climb aboard their inflatable vessels with 360 degree viewing, you will be so close to the water for the ultimate back to nature encounter!

Departing from Fingal Wharf, only a maximum of 10 people are part of this tour with virtually your own private guide.  Hot drinks and snacks are served.  There is a free pickup/drop off service from the Gold Coast.

Tweed Coast Whale Watching

Family owned with 15 years of fabulous service, Tweed Coast Whale Watching 2 - 3 hour cruises are more intimate than others with a maximum of 46 passengers.
